OITNB Star Samira Wiley Fronts Christian Siriano Shoot

Poussey looks so different in this shoot but that’s her character in the hit series Orange Is The New Black .For his fall campaign, Christian Siriano has tapped Samira Wiley as his muse. This campaign shoot was the first time for her, shooting with a designer on his own brand images.

“This is going to sound super-cliche,” she says, “but every dress I wore in the shoot was my favorite. We use clothes to transfer the energy of how something looks in the mirror into how we feel when we wear it. So when I wear Christian’s dresses, I feel a little of the creative energy that inspired Christian to create the look in the first place is transferred onto me… at least I hope!”

The 28-year-old actress poses for Brad Walsh in gorgeous dresses with plenty of flowing fabric and prints. “People always say ‘clothes make the man,’” Samira told Elle about the shoot. “If that holds true, I’m pretty sure Christian’s clothes make me fierce as hell.”

It is definitely a change seeing her in a gown and oozing of feminine confidence. You know the saying ‘Looking good is good business‘ never felt so true.

From the flowing dresses, to the tiger print jacket and the tiger in the background, to the flowery print. Christian definitely tells us that every woman is beautiful once you get the outfit that speaks to her inner lioness.
