Be The Ultimate Chief Bridesmaid

More often than not, you reckon that the day you become a chief bridesmaid (for your elder sister or best friend) would just be like your own wedding. It is a truck load of craziness and then some but at the end of the day, you would want to have been the ultimate chief bridesmaid that made their memorable day special.

Okay ladies, this class is divided into 3 courses

C.B 101: After The Engagement 

So she is getting married and she has asked you to be her chief bridesmaid (not like she had an option), you have automatically taken a job that would stress you out but you would do it for love. In passing this course, here is what you have to do;

• Help the bride choose the bridesmaids and their outfit. Now contrary to recent beliefs, the bridesmaids have absolutely no choice of their outfits. Now C.B you are her backbone, you don’t have the final say in these decision but you would make sure the bridesmaids do not bother her.
• Since we have established the relationship with the bridesmaids, you would be in charge of the bridal shower. You would set up the theme of  the day, invite the girls, make sure that everything goes to the taste of the bride and make sure there are games and she has a great time.
• Considering that you just became her VOLTRON (yes we said it), you are her official bad cop and personal assistant. You would help her with picking her dress, visiting vendors and making sure every single thing on her wedding plan has been ticked like a to-do list.

C.B 102: Weeks During The Wedding

• You transform into a softer voltron, for her sake anyways. She will have wedding jitters. So don’t forget to be the calm one in all situations.
• Mediate between her and her hubby, understand what he wants and what she wants so there is no misunderstanding. After all, we all want a wedding to happen!!

C.B 103: The D-Day

• Darling, you are now a maid!! Yes we said it, your hands do not belong to you. They will refresh her lipstick, pin her hair back, hold the bouquet during the ceremony, feed her snacks and rearrange/carry her train as necessary.
• You would become her joker and make sure she is smiling all day.
• The vendors know you, so make sure they deliver and make them understand they won’t be getting paid if they do not what they have been hired to do.
• Drink in the fun and party with your best friend as, if everything goes to plan, she’ll only get married once.

Finally, you get to see her leave you with her husband and you silently thank the heavens that she has a new voltron. Make sure he know that.
