The Obamas show might just be the next big thing.

The Obamas are in talks with American entertainment company, Netflix over the production of high profile television shows.

The New York Times reports that the power couple will not use the medium to attack Trump. Instead, they will be focussing on inspirational stories.

Eric Schultz, a senior adviser to former President Obama, said

“President and Mrs Obama have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire…Throughout their lives, they have lifted up stories of people whose efforts to make a difference are quietly changing the world for the better. As they consider their future personal plans, they continue to explore new ways to help others tell and share their stories.”

Using the show, Obama will address issues that dominated his presidency such as “health care, voting rights, immigration, foreign policy, climate change”.

There is a possibility that Mrs Michelle Obama will feature on different topics including “nutrition”, a cause she championed.

It is not yet known how much Netflix will pay the couple.
