Davido Releases Official Statement And Footage From Night Tagbo Died
Nigerian musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has released an official statement and footage of what seems to be his last meeting with his late friend, Tagbo Umeike.
The police, in a briefing on Wednesday, had stated that Tagbo died from suffocation and had been dumped at a general hospital by Davido’s driver and a couple of friends.
The police reinvited Davido for further questioning about the untruths he had told during their pre-investigation meeting.
Davido took to his Snapchat and Instagram accounts to state his innocence, promising to release an official statement and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage from the night Tagbo died to clear his name.
