The premiere of ‘The CEO’ had something extra to make it spectacular — an Airbus A340-300. Directed by Kunle Afolayan, the movie had it’s first airing on Air France flight 149 from Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos to Paris Charles De Gaulle overnight Wednesday to Thursday.
The CEO would be highly ranked at the Nollywood Week Film Festival, which starts on Thursday through Sunday in Paris
According to Kunle, “What is happening tonight, that has never happened before anywhere in the world. It’s going to be a premiere of a film in a plane,“
“We decided to come up with this initiative to show the world that Africans are innovative, Nigerians are special people.”
The proud cast of the movie include Grammy-award-winning singer Angelique Kidjo, Nico Panagio,Kemi Lala Akindoju,
Hilda Dokubo, Aurelie Eliam, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Fatym Layachi , Peter King Nzioki and Wale Ojo.
