Patoranking Turns A Year Older Today
Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, popularly known by his stage name, Patoranking, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter who was born on May 27, 1990.
The ‘Wha Ya Say’ crooner who turns 26 today has received tons of messages from loyal fans wishing him a “happy birthday” on Instagram and Twitter.
Patoranking came into limelight after releasing ‘Girlie O’ and since then has not slacked in releasing other songs and various collaborations.
He started his performing arts career as a street jam and carnival dancer and before stardom he was a member of the defunct Afro hip hop group called Da Flavour Squad in 2003.
Patoranking who says his stage name was given to him by a Jamaican artist whom he met at Alpha Beach in Lagos, has been very active in the music industry with his stage name becoming a household name and the young artist himself the hottest dancehall act in the country at the moment.
This year he signed a record deal with the biggest reggae/dancehall label in the world VP Records and nabbed an endorsement deal a few months ago.
The multiple award winning artist is also one of the Judges on The Voice Nigeria along side other artists.
