The Internet went crazy in April when Serena posted a photo of her baby bump on Snapchat with the caption “20 weeks”. It was later confirmed that the 35-year old 23-time Grand Slam tennis champion was pregnant and due to give birth later this year.
Serena Williams took her celebrity friends back to the past with her 1950s-themed baby shower this morning at Nick’s 50’s Diner in West Palm Beach, Florida. Celebrities such as Kelly Rowland, Ciara, Venus Williams, Eva Longoria and La La Anthony were at the celebration. The stars looked like they had stepped out of a time machine as they took photos in front of a cherry red truck parked in front of the diner.
All the ladies in attendance took the theme seriously, and all looked absolutely unique in what they wore. The expecting mum wore a poodle skirt and saddle shoes. So did Ciara. Eva wore a red ensemble with Converse shoes. Kelly paired an asymmetrical polka-dot top with a tulle skirt.Venus wore a spotted dress.
