WATCH – Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Teaser Trailer

In a bid to bring all their classic fairytales to live, Disney has been doing live-action retellings of all the stories we grew up loving. If you think you’ve seen it all with Maleficent, and Jungle Book, think again. Today the teaser trailer for the live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, one of my persanl favorites, was released.

Watch The Beauty and the Beast Teaser –

Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic. Tthe movie will remake the characters from the old tale for a more modern audience, and add a few new songs, but fret not. We’re stil going to hear some of rhe old music as well.

The cast of Beauty and the Beast is very star-studded. We’ll be seeing Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle’s eccentric, but lovable father; Josh Gad as Lefou, Gaston’s long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, the feather duster; six-time Tony Award® winner Audra McDonald as Madame Garderobe, the wardrobe; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts.

My only concern is in the telling of the story. I’m slightly biased because I already love the story of Belle and how she falls in love with a “beast”. Even if they play it out exactly as is in the animated film, which is unlikely, I ight still find one or two things to pick on. We’ll see though. It’ just one of those situations where I hope for the best and keep an open mind. Hhopefully, the following trailers will reveal a little bit more about what to expect.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will be released in U.S. theaters on March 17, 2017.
