NCCE Tasks Others To Do Same
THE Executive Secretary of National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), Prof. Monday Joshua has urged other colleges of education in the country to emulate Adeyemi College of Education (ACE), Ondo, for its academic excellence.

Prof. Joshua said this last week during the first inaugural lecture of the college, stating that such lecture underlines the brilliance and enviable records obtainable in the academia.

The school, which was established in 1963, organized the lecture after 53 years of its existence.
With theme as: ‘Utilisation Of Packaging Technology In Agriculture,’ Prof. Joshua noted that inaugural lecture used to be a university affair, but two years ago the culture was extended to the Colleges of Education, and ACE is one of the five colleges that have successfully organised such across the nation.

Prof. Ogen, who commended the lecturer from the Department of Agricultural Science, Dr. Francis Olaniji Adegunloye for the brilliant presentation, enjoined other lecturers to use the opportunities given to them.

Adegunloye, in his presentation, highlighted the importance of packaging technology to agricultural development in the country, proffering termite mound as a better means of preservation than the conventional steel silo and its equivalents.
