BISHOP of Badagry Diocese, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Bishop Babatunde Joseph Adeyemi has emphasised need for quality leadership at all levels in the country.

The Bishop who spoke during the 10th consecration anniversary and thanksgiving service in Badagry Diocese, noted that there is nobody or force against Nigeria except the leaders.

He said he believes the country would be good even in his time and would be better at the time of his children and generation after, even as he urged all Nigerians to rally round their leaders to ensure their success.

He said: “I believe Nigeria will be good in my time and will be better for my children. So, I don’t believe in those predicting doom for the nation. All I want to say to our leaders is that they should allow things to work.
They are the enemies of themselves. .

“Nobody is against this country except the leadership and the leaders need to repent. Those of us who are followers, when a Shepard says go, the sheep goes to answer the call of the Shepard. So, we should rally round our leaders, pray for our nations and do what is right. .

“We go to other countries, we visit other places and see the good things there, why can’t we replicate them in our nation? It is because of selfishness. I believe we will overcome. I want to plead with those who are attacking Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). They should allow INEC to work so that we can have free and fair elections;” Bishop Adeyemi added
