APC-LOGO-17ALL Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for House of Representatives, Esan Central/Esan West/Igueben federal constituency, Gideon Obhakhan, has decried the allegedly attack on him in Ekpoma by ‘unknown uniformed men suspected to be acting the script of the opposition.’

Narrating his ordeal in the hands of four unidentified military officers, he said he was carrying on with his campaign at
Ambrose Alli University (AAU) campus gate with students from the institution when some “fierce- looking military officers unleashed terror” on him.

He said the “four unidentified soldiers” forced him down from the podium and beat him mercilessly.

He said the sad development disrupted his campaign and left him with serious injuries.

However, the army authorities when contacted, said they were not aware of such attack or assault on any personality while on campaign with students from AAU Ekpoma.
