APC endorses Akeredolu as Ondo guber candidate
Sends name to INEC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) seems to have jettisoned the recommendation of its committee on the Ondo governorship primary election.
The party, it was learnt, had sent the name of the winner of its primary election in the state, Rotimi Akeredolu, to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The committee had recommended that the exercise be done again following the level of complaints by some of the other aspirants on the party’s platform.
But the APC, through its National Organising Secretary, Senator Osita Izunaso, sent the name of the former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) yesterday, September 22, 2016 and this was confirmed by Akeredolu.
The name was submitted after the National Chairman of the party and the National Secretary, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and Mai Mala Buni, endorsed the INEC form as required.

All is well that ends well. And kudos to all contestants and for the patience of the Ondo people.
Thank you also Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Lagos would remain yours again.
