Atiku, Daniel, Osun assembly see hope, call for sacrifice in 2017

Former Vice President and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar, the immediate past governor of Ogun State, the Asiwaju of Remo Christians, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and the Osun State House of Assembly under the leadership of Najeem Salaam have declared that 2017 would be a year of new hope for Nigeria and Nigerians, if they embrace it with a high sense of purpose, positive resolve and optimism.

On his part, Daniels urged Nigerians to offer special prayers for peace to reign in the country and the world.In a statement to mark the New Year celebrations, the Turakin Adamawa described the outgoing year, as one in which the nation faced a multitude of challenges, but ended on a high note, giving hope and confidence in what a nation can achieve when it stands to work together.

In the assembly’s New Year message by the Chairman, House Committee on Information and Strategy, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, it noted that the efforts of the government have shown that there is commitment to bring succour to the country.
