Bagudu, Emir of Gwandu advocate peace And harmony

The Emir of Gwandu and Chairman Kebbi State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, has enjoined parents and children to imbibe the lessons learnt from the month of Ramadan and forgive one another as a family.

The Emir of Gwandu and Chairman Kebbi State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, has enjoined parents and children to imbibe the lessons learnt from the month of Ramadan and forgive one another as a family.
   
The emir, who made the call after the completion of two rakaat prayers presided over by Imam Ahmad Rufai at the Eid praying ground in Birnin Kebbi, said the family is the nucleus of society, where peace, love and tolerance should be imbibed.He said parents have the responsibility of taking care of their children, while children on their part should respect their parents and leaders; hence parents should sit with their children and guide them on ethical values and good character, devoid of social vices, for the sake of having a better society.
 
The emir also charged children to take education serious and embrace skill acquisition to become self-employed.He prayed for bumper harvest, peace and tranquility in Nigeria, while congratulating the Muslim Ummah on the Sallah celebration.
 
In his Sallah message, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu urged Nigerian to live in peace and harmony with one another. He commended the people of the state for their support and cooperation with his administration in piloting the affairs of the state.
