• Urges Nigerians To Hope and Pray For Better Days

The Bishop of Abeokuta Diocese of the Catholic Church, Most Rev. Peter Odetoyinbo, has lamented the state of the nation, saying the change that is expected and the promises of the leaders have not brought any respite to Nigerians.

The cleric, who said this during his Easter message, however, assured that things will change for good if the people would continue to put their trust in God and pray.

He called on government to spend the monies reportedly recovered from corrupt persons on projects that would improve standard of living of the people.

According to him, Jesus Christ did not give up under pains and sufferings, so, Nigerians, especially Christians should not give up under these painful and uninviting experiences in the country.
