Buhari gets minimum wage report today
President Muhammadu Buhari is to receive the report of the Amal Pepple-led minimum wage committee today, according to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige.
The minister, yesterday, in Abuja also denied the claim that the Federal Government had foreclosed the outcome of the committee.He added that the his team would be meeting with the Economic Management Team and state governments in the next two weeks to arrive at a figure for onward transmission to the National Assembly for passage.The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) had said 22 state governments sent memoranda to the panel in respect of the subject.
