CIPSMN holds mandatory proficiency programme on supply chain management

The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN) is set to hold the batch ‘B’ 2017 Mandatory Proficiency Development Programme (MPDP) in Procurement and supply chain management for its members.

The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN) is set to hold the batch ‘B’ 2017 Mandatory Proficiency Development Programme (MPDP) in Procurement and supply chain management for its members.

The programme with the theme: “Sound Procurement and Supply Chain Management Practice: An antidote for Fighting Procurement Related Corruption,” holds between August 23 and August 25, 2017, while induction of new members will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2017 in Abuja.

CIPSMN is a member of the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM), the global body for professional procurement and supply chain management.

The three-day training will cover various topics including: Understanding Public Sector Procurement Policy in Nigeria, Importance of Procurement Function in Project Management and the Concept of Human Behaviour in Organisational Development.

The institute called on all qualified members to attend the programme, as it promises to provide a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the profession.
