Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel has commiserated with the family of the late former Inspector General of Police (IGP), Etim Okon Inyang, who died on Monday, September 26, this year.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ekerete Udoh, Emmanuel stated: “On behalf of the government and people of Akwa Ibom State, we commiserate with the family of our illustrious son and compatriot, Etim Okon Inyang, at the Raddington Hospital, Lagos, aged 85.

“His life illustrates the true Akwa Ibom spirit of hardwork, industry and honesty, a sprit that stares challenges in the eye and instead of buckling under the weight, would rather rise to such challenges and let the true character manifests.”
