The Indigenes of Epe Kingdom has appealed to the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to end rift with Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, in order for peace return to Lagos state.

The community who spoke through the Aremo of Epeland, Otunba Tajudeen Abass, however disclosed that the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akinolu is currently intervening in the crisis to ensure that all is well between the two.

They spoke yesterday at a press conference to herald 150 years celebration of Kayokayo festival by Eko- Epe community held at Olu-Epe Palace, Epe, Lagos.

The programme which is a full week event commenced yesterday and would end on Saturday, 22.

Dignitaries at the event would include: Governor Ambode, Aare Oona Kakanfo, Otunba Gani Adams who is the chairman of the occasion, Dr. Abiola Dosunmu and all Traditional Rulers in the state.

He said: “The Oba of Lagos is currently intervening to address this issue.

We don’t want the development that we have been seeing in the state since Tinubu era to this present administration to stop. We want continuity.
