Experts speak at June edition of The Roundtable Series

A discerning audience ranging from management executives to sales and marketing professionals as well as luxury retail managers gathered together for the June edition of The Roundtable Series, which took place on Friday, 29th March at the Radisson Blu Anchorage, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The workshop which was themed ‘The Psychology of Selling to the Affluent: An outlook on the Nigerian consumer profile and purchase behaviours’, focused on the Nigerian Affluent Consumer, classes of the affluent consumer segments, purchase motivations & triggers and consumer profiles in relation to selling.

The quarterly workshop hosted by J’ennique Consulting presented an opportunity for participants to be equipped with the right strategies, market knowledge and skill set required to attract and service this class of unique influential individuals whilst ‘Staying Ahead’ in their respective industries.

The Roundtable Series is a quarterly thought leadership workshop organised by J’ennique Consulting designed to provide industry insights, educate and inspire confidence through series of informative workshops focused on Affluent Marketing facilitated by industry professionals and management executives.

The workshop featured a welcome speech by Adaeze Obiozor, Managing Partner, J’ennique Consulting where she encouraged brands and businesses to adopt the 21st Century ‘Product to Consumer-centric’ approach in selling to the Nigerian Affluent.

She said: “Market trends show that we are in a consumer economy that is driven by the motive for selling, what this means is that the success of a brand product or business hinges on two major factors; 1. A concise understanding of the consumer, their segments, profiles and behaviour, 2. Genuine interest in consumer satisfaction, communicated with clarity. Marketers must begin to understand the needs and wants of these influential class of powerhouses beyond the consumers of luxury goods and services.@

There was also a panel discussion where the attendees had the opportunity to learn from experts within the financial, real estate, hospitality and lifestyle sectors.

The excellent panel featured; Adetola Fasuyi, a financial services expert with over 25 years experience with emphasis on Asset/Wealth Management, Fifehan Osikanlu, an astute Private Equity Consultant, HNI Marketing Executive with extensive experience in investment and advisory, market intelligence and consumer insights, Adaeze Obiozor, affluent marketing expert renowned for advising industry leading clients in select sectors and delivering winning strategies focused on the affluent consumer segment, Damilola Adepoju, Hospitality Consultant and Director, Hausse Hospitality and Abu Sulaiman, Real Estate professional with over 10 years experience.

Abu Sulaiman, Hormel Company Limited delivered a presentation tagged ‘Strategic Marketing; A pivotal indices in the delivery of real estate services to the end users’.
