Expressing vehement doubts about the impartiality, credibility and independence of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the dabbling into partisan politics of security forces taking orders from the presidency, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) has called on Nigerians to blame the national hierarchy of the All Progressives Congress (APC) should violence break out in the scheduled re-run elections in Rivers State into the National and State Assemblies.

HURIWA, in a statement jointly signed by its National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko and the National Media Affairs Director, Miss Zainab Yusuf, also urged Nigerians to stand up and demand National Assembly’s actions to save the nation from eventual implosion by properly carrying out dispassionate oversight functions over INEC and comprehensively overhauling the constitutional provisions to take the electoral body out of the suffocating control of the presidency.

Where is this sham group from? Who did they hold responsible for the previous killings of APC Chieftains in rivers? What about the daily cultist activities in rivers? When wike told people to write their will before election and they truly died before and after election; who should be held responsible?
