The Christian United For Israel (CUFI) has said that the State of Israel will release a cure for cancer at its 70th anniversary celebration.

Executive Secretary of CUFI prayer outreach in Nigeria, Rev. Sampson Ozovehi, made this known during a Stakeholders’ Forum held yesterday at Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) headquarters in Kaduna, stating that Israel was ready to help the world say goodbye to cancer.

This meeting is all about the State of Israel turning 70 years. According to Jewish calendar, the celebration is on April 11, but according to United Nations calendar, the state will turn 70 years on May 14 this year.

Ozovehi said Israel as a nation deserved to be celebrated by the whole world owing to its immense contribution the development of humanity.

“In every family of today, there is presence of the State of Israel, either through their technology or innovation.

“Israel as a nation is a blessing to the whole world, not just a blessing to Christians alone but also for Muslims, everybody and the entire world. It has contributed to the development of the world, than other nations.

“Talking about cellphone production, aviation industry and agriculture, among others, everyone on earth today is a beneficiary of a nation that is just 70 years.

“And that’s why we believe the celebration is a scriptural fulfillment, which must be had in Nigeria. Other nations are celebrating Israel, and we won’t keep quiet.”

Ozovehi, however, stated that despite Nigeria being among the countries that earlier voted against having Jerusalem as the capital of Israel at the UN convention, Christians across the country will on June 3, 2018 gather at National Christians Center in Abuja to celebrate the state of Israel.

“No fewer than 5,000 Nigerians will be at the National Christians Center in Abuja to celebrate the state of Israel,” he added.

While blaming the silence of Nigerians on the vote against Israel, Ozovehi assured that CUFI Nigeria will invite all international media organisation to cover the event, where “Christians will dissociate themselves from the that took place in December last year against Israel as it was against the conscience of generality of Nigerians.
