Pursuant to the Suspension of the Federal High Court judgment of March 16, 2015, which stopped the Lagos State Government from imposing movement restriction of movements on citizens on monthly sanitation days, the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise for the month of April will tomorrow be observed statewide with its attendant restriction of human and vehicular activities between the hours of 7:00am-10am.

According to a fresh Order made by Justice Mohammed Idris, the Commissioner for the Environment stated that, the March 16 judgment would not be enforced until the outcome of the appeal filed by the Lagos State Government which challenged the judgment.

Tunji Bello further stated that by implication, all human and vehicular activities within federal and state roads during 7.00am-10.00am remain restricted.
