Anyaoku Extols His Seven Years In Ondo
THE Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko has been named the   Keynote Speaker for the 2016 edition of the Africa Business Conference (ABC), being organised by the Lagos Business School.

Previous keynote speakers at the Conference included, respected business mogul, Aliko Dangote, CEO, Dangote Group of Companies, Tony Elumelu, Chairman of Heirs Holdings and Founder, Tony Elumelu Foundation among others.

The theme for this years conference is “Africa Rising: Leveraging the power of a Younger Generation”In a letter announcing his selection as speaker at the Lagos Business School organised conference, Dean and President of the School, Dr. Enase Okonedo and Oladiwura Oladepo respectively, explained that the gesture will afford the Governor opportunity to educate and enlighten business leaders on existing opportunities in Africa.

Also, speaking to journalists on Mimiko’s invitation to the planned Conference, Ondo State Commissioner for Information, Kayode Akinmade, said guests to the event will have much to learn from the Governor, especially, as his seven year old government has made Ondo state a global benchmark through some of its initiatives.

Meantime, former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, said there is a lot to celebrate in the Dr. Olusegun Mimiko’s seven-year-old administration in the state.

Anyaoku who arrived the state last Tuesday took time out to visit some of the projects of the Mimiko led administration ahead of the symposium he chaired on Wednesday as part of activities marking the 7th anniversary of the administration.

Speaking with newsmen shortly before his departure from the state, at the weekend, Anyaoku described the administration ‘s achievements as novel in all sectors of the state ‘s economy.

He said the governor has in the last seven years, demonstrated uncommon leadership in all sectors, particularly in the health sector, and thus urged other states to copy the Ondo example in qualitative healthcare delivery, to achieve the goal of Nigeria being a Medical Tourism destination.

Labeling the achievements of the government as “true transformation”, Anyaoku said Nigeria will realise its dreams if the kind of welfare services provided  by the  Ondo State government become a common sight in other parts of the country.

Well, finish your Examinations come home and answer to the Investigating Agency. When a Federally charted body requests a classification from an Official, current or former, there is no story-telling. Any stone-walling to physically show up is suggestive of something amiss. You remember the battle of Mrs. Alison-Madueke and the N’ASS in 2015? What is happening now with the former Petroleum Minister? In hindsight, she is regretting missing the opportunity to personally effect the explanations she is lately endeavoring to tender. As you are submitting now, the case is in the public view and there is no motions in its resolution. Act the Lawyer; the (SAN), you are and put things in an informed perspective. And do not go antagonizing everyone along the line wishing away your stewardship at the time. EFCC needs your help, sir.
