Mind builders school conducts free surgery
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the management of Mind Builders School, Lagos, has conducted free eye surgery for 10 people at Olowora, Ojodu and Omole communities in the Berger area of Lagos State.
The beneficiaries were selected during a four-day free eye screening conducted by the school, in conjunction with Eye Foundation Centre, Bright Hope Hospital, Medical Hospital,Fidson Pharmaceuticals and Nigeria Police Medial Services, to mark the 20th anniversary of the school.
Chairman, Board of Directors of the institution, Mr. Bosun Falore, said the school’s management was inspired by the efforts of past and present governors of Lagos State, who prioritised health issues.
The chairman said the free health screening included BMI, blood pressure, random blood sugar, Hepatitis B, provision of eye drops and glasses, and the treatment of cataracts at Ijebu Ife.Falore appealed to corporate organisations and well-meaning citizens to complement the efforts of the current government.
