THE All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCPCO) has distanced the party from the current petrol scarcity in the country, describing the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) allegation against it as fallacious.

In a statement signed by Malam Garba Shehu, APCPCO’s Director, Media and Publicity, in Abuja on Tuesday, the organisation said that the Federal Government should take responsibility for the fuel supply situation in parts of the country.

The document said that it was wrong for the PDP to accuse APC of responsibility for the scarcity, adding that the accusation was misdirected.

It wondered why APC and its presidential candidate had to be blamed for every problem currently in the country.

“What else are they going to accuse the APC and its presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, of?’’ it queried.

It advised the PDP and the Federal Government to dissipate energy in ensuring that Nigerians get credible, free and fair elections on March 28 and April 11. (NAN)
