THE Gombe State Police Command has threatened that it would not tolerate any act that would undermine the rule of law during next week’s presidential campaign rallies of President Goodluck Jonathan of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Jonathan and Buhari are expected in Gombe for their presidential campaign rallies on Monday and Tuesday respectively.

The Police in a statement Friday warned political parties in the state to caution their supporters to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and avoid anything that would undermine or create unnecessary problems ahead of the two presidential campaigns.

The command’s spokesman, Fwaje Atajiri, urged parents and guardians to warn their children and wards to be law abiding and to conduct themselves peacefully, warning that any unlawful act would not be tolerated.
