Nigerian Army to conduct shooting exercise, warns Kaduna residents to keep off

The Nigerian Army Depot in Kaduna has warned residents of Kabama and Tohu villages along Zaria-Kano expressway to stay away from its shooting range.The Army gave the warning following the 77 Regular Recruits Intake Range Classification Exercise it is conducting from Monday, August 20 to Saturday, September 1.

This was contained in a statement by the Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Depot Nigerian Army/Nigerian Military School, Zaria, Lt. Adekunle Akinleye.He said the exercises would involve firing of live ammunition, using small arms, assuring that the authority had put in place safety measures and precautions to ensure a safe and hitch free exercise.
