National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Reverend Felix Omobude, has said Nigeria will be a better nation this year, maintaining that the citizens will fare better than they did in 2017.He, therefore, urged all believers to look up to God and charged Nigerians to shun vices, honour God in the country’s value system and imbibe the spirit of sacrifice.

Omobude made this known at the International headquarters of his church in Benin City in an interview with The Guardian, saying that Nigerians should continually be grateful to God always, as 2018 would be better than 2017.

The PFN president, however, revealed that he would like to see constant power supply, potable water supply, employment for the youths, improved educational system, provision of basic social amenities and a corrupt-free country this year 2018.He also called on politicians to avoid hate speeches, as 2018 is a pre-electioneering year. His words: “Every believer must look up to God for today and tomorrow. I believe that Jesus Christ of 2017 has gone ahead of us into 2018. I appreciate the gift of prophecy but I believe that in 2018, we will be better than in 2017.

“A lot of campaign and activities will be on but I want Nigerians to conduct their political campaigns and aspiration in a Godly manner. “The Federal Government has been campaigning against hate speeches. We would love to see this campaign against hate speeches actualised during political campaigns. We should be civil in our approaches and if we have gained anything politically, 2018 will be a year to prove whether we have learnt anything in democracy.

“We want to see a Nigeria with better roads and better communications and above all, we want to see a Nigeria where people are free to live where ever they wanted to live, do their businesses, practice their faiths without let or hindrance.”

Speaking, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya noted that this year will be a year of great fall for corrupt leaders who cover up their activities. He said: “It is a year in which God will kill rebellious kings and leaders. It is a year of global economic and political downturn. It has been revealed that 2018 is a year of repackaged bondage.”

Olukoya, who gave the revelations at Prayer City on Lagos-Ibadan expressway while giving prophetic look for 2018, added that 2018 is a year of political confusion where personalities working against peace of the nation will fight and kill themselves. He said God would kill rebellious kings and leaders in 2018, adding that marriages would be seriously attacked and urged married couples to always pray together.

He disclosed that in 2018, leaders who involve in sexual immorality would be disgraced but revealed that 20018 will be a year where the barren will be fruitful. He said the key for survival this year was for people to repent genuinely and pray always through the Lord Jesus Christ.
