To create more employment opportunities in Ondo State, the state government’s cassava-ethanol project is expected to commence before the end of the year.
Special Adviser to the Governor Olurotimi Akeredolu on Development and Investment, Boye Oyewumi, disclosed this at the weekend when a team foreign experts and officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) visited the proposed site of the plant.
The ethanol project, located at Okeluse in Ose Local Council of the state, is a partnership between the Ondo State government and the NNPC.
