‘Only people of character can promote Nigeria’s greatness’

Former Minister of Health, Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi, has said Nigeria’s quest for greatness would require professionals who are willing to take responsibility and are excellent in character.

He spoke at the induction and investiture ceremony for new members by the Professional Excellence Foundation of Nigeria (PEFON), and celebration of Surveyor Akinola Olawore on his recognition by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors U.K.

Adelusi-Adeluyi said PEFON was formed to tackle the challenges the country is grappling with. He implored the new members to be of good character.

The founder, Dipo Bailey, said PEFON is not in a hurry to grow its membership because it wants people who are committed to excellence.

One of the new inductees, Babatunde Ruwase, speaking on behalf of the others, promised to uphold the tenets of the foundation.
