The Asaba police have arrested a 60-year-old grandfather and his friend for stealing a Toyota Jeep and recovered from them, 186 master keys. They were arrested around Infant-Jesus road where they kept the vehicle while they were still asleep at about 7am yesterday.

Confirming the arrest, the Police Commissioner in the state, Mr. Zanna Ibrahim who paraded them before journalists, said the suspects confessed to the crime, adding that they have been stealing cars with the use of master keys for several years before nemesis caught up with them.

Ibrahim gave their names as Nnamdi Edward and Chukwu Francis, both indigenes of Imo State and said they would be charged to court upon completion of investigation.

Meanwhile, unidentified gunmen have killed a businessman in Sapele identified as Henry Amromanor. Reports say unidentified gunmen who monitored him to be sure he was home shot him dead in his room. The Police have confirmed the incidence, adding that the corpse has been deposited in the mortuary.

In another development, residents of Ibusa community were yesterday thrown into confusion as the lifeless body of an unknown middle-aged man was found lying on the road. Residents said they got up in the morning to see the corpse and duly called security agents to remove and investigate.
