Police arrest prophet over alleged beating, chaining of wife, son
Police in Lagos have arrested a prophet, Prophet Emmanuel Adeyemi of No. 16 Aderinola Olamiju close Unity Estate, Imodium, Berger for allegedly beating his wife, Funke Adeyemi and breaking her leg.
The Guardian learnt that the prophet also maltreated his sons and chained one of them. Luck, however, ran out on him when one of the sons escaped from the house and alerted a good Samaritan, who contacted the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT).
The Coordinator, Lagos State Domestic and SexualViolence Response Team (DSVRT), Mrs.Titilola Vivour-Adenyi, who confirmed the arrest, said when they got a distress call on the incident they alerted the police, which led to his arrest.
On interrogation, the prophet claimed to be a prophet with healing powers.
According to Vivour-Adenyi, all incidents took place in his church located at Berger.
She revealed that there were 32 other people in chains when the police intervened , whom he claimed were being treated for mental illness.

A closer look @ the m-shot of this fella above, reveals nothing but a lunatic parading as a prophet. This fella needs help not incarceration. There are many of his type out there in the society and they need true salvation. Consider what the scripture asserts – Many will say, Lord, Lord I cast out demons in your name, but the Lord will tell them “I do not know you.”
