Politics of party affiliation should be jettisoned after election, says royal father

For development to take place, politicians must drop all differences after elections have been won or lost irrespective of party affiliations, join hands and work for the common good of the electorates, the Olu of Okebukun land has charged.

Speaking yesterday at the quiz competition organized for all secondary schools by the member representing Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, Honorable Mathew Kolawole, he called on all politicians to eliminate petty politics.

He said there was no need for such politics of party affiliations as all parties work for the good of the people.


On his part, Honorable Kolawole said he organized the quiz competition for all secondary schools in his constituency to enhance their knowledge and encourage the students to perform better academically. He said the winner would have scholarship for one year since it is a yearly event.
