He called on the volunteers to give the training all the necessary seriousness it deserves, stressing that victory for president Jonathan is a collective goal of the PDP, TAN and Women for change who are jointly sponsoring the training of the volunteers.

He noted that a total of 60,000 volunteer centers would be established in the federation with each ward having at least five volunteer centers where the volunteers would be taking off for the task of selling the candidacy of the president.

“The ward volunteer scheme is s PDP project powered by the Presidential Campaign Organization and sponsored by TAN and Women for change. This is been done with the ministry of finance, SURE-P and other government agencies. It is aimed at taking the giant strides of Mr president to the knowledge of those in the wards who may not have been following the great things the Jonathan administration had done.

“The project is to mobilize 100,000 paid volunteers across the 8812 wards in Nigeria who will in turn recruit another 1.1million volunteers for the PDP.” The TAN director of media noted.

It will be pretty difficult to convince people who have already made up their minds. Anyway, there’s no harm in trying. Good luck!
