Tinubu, Fayemi, Mimiko mourn Famakinwa
Former Lagos State governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) national stalwart, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has said the Director-General of the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN), Mr. Dipo Famakinwa, who died on Friday, breathed life into the Southwest regional economic integration idea.
Also, Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi and former governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko have described the death of Famakinwa as a devastating blow, not only to his family, but the entire Yorubaland.
Tinubu in a condolence message issued by his Media Office, said though Famakinwa’s death at 51 was unpleasant, he pointed out, however, that the late DAWN Director-general lived an eventful life.
