UBTH honours Imasuangbon, Onolomemen, others
The management of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) has honoured a former governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Kenneth Imansuangbon, for his philanthropic gesture toward indigent patients and providing financial support for the institution.
Others honoured with the merit award of the hospital are a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon Patrick Ikhariale; an industrialist, Mr. Andrew Agenmonmen and a former Minister of Works, Mike Onolomemen.
The honour was bestowed on Imansuangbon and others at a valedictory session to mark the end of the eight years tenure of Professor Micheal Ibadin as the Chief Medical Director of UBTH.
Explaining the reasons for the honour, Ibadin said the recipients provided exceptional support for the hospital in times of need.
He said Imasuangbon has lived up to his promise to provide annual financial support since 2013.
