Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has urged women to use their numerical strength, which corresponds with their voting power to elect themselves into political offices.

He said women have bulk votes that determine electoral victory to a large extent and consequently encouraged those desiring elective offices to do so, especially as obtaining of forms have also been made free for female aspirants.

The governor, who spoke through his deputy, Ude Oko Chukwu, at this year’s Abia Women August Meeting Delegates Conference (AWADEC), commended women for contributing to the development of the state.
