Sir: Please permit me to express my view on Russia 2018 World Cup fiestas in June/July this year.

Glory be to God, that reformation is looming in our dear country Nigeria today in soccer competitions both local and international competitions.

Now that the fear is over, useful suggestions can now work to make this country good; most people in the country are conceived of useful suggestions which could have helped the country a lot.

In the past, fire brigade system was always our approach, but for now, we have stopped fire brigade approach and this gave me strong belief that Gernot Rohr will move closer to quarter final with the squad he intend to use.

In the past, god-fatherism, favouritism, ethnicitism, used to be our method for selections of our squads, but today Gernot Rohr was allowed to go all over the world to select members of his squad. I, for this give kudos to NFF.

Another area is funding which is very remarkable for this Russia 2018 which will not give room for any excuse and I believe that their head coach will not like to disgrace himself because he is an international coach, his future will in fact matter to him and will like to proof himself.

He is a Whiteman; he knows political behaviours of his people and will stand on them to protect our own interest.

In Japan 2002 World Cup, Bora was our Super Eagles coach, he had a lot of challenges and the result was what it was.

Although, he had come and gone, he was unable to come back to give account of “France 1998” to all Nigerians.

Neither the players themselves are not proud to come back to give account of their stewardships.

We have learned more in a hard ways in this country and we still need to improve.

This time around my prayer is that they will all come back in July 2018 to jubilate their tremendous success.

It is however believed that good result always encourage the masses.

In the past, we had made good impacts during Segun Odegbami, Muda Lawal, Best Ogedengbe, Kanu Nwakwo, Rashidi Yekini, Peter Rufai, Benedict Iroha, Finidi George in memorial time.

Nigerian team used to be called to camp from clubs sides (I mean Nigerian based club sides) remember that we went to England one time and played 1 – 1 on their own soil or better than that.

Would history repeat itself?

At such time, our club sides always go for winning continental matches, techniques, experience and majority matters in soccer competitions.

Today’s soccer is scientific with goal line technology; it needs good skill, experience, concentration, good target and prayer.

Prayer is important because many other co-players are not godly. It is a battle and uneasy head that lie the crown.

Fellow Nigerians, we need prayers for Super Eagles for their success in Russia come June/July this year.

With God all things are possible, but our players must be focused, skillful and understand themselves where to be at the right time.

My belief is that God will go with them and perform wonderfully in Russia.

The whole Africa will hail them and welcome them as God will be their source of energy.

Before each match, let them be praying with Psalms 24 before they start on the field of play to put God first and His angels will work with them.

I must be very frank, it is not a magic, the way we lay our bed, they way we shall sleep on it in Russia come June this year in Russia 2018.

If we work hard we shall assume the soccer supremacy in the competition.

Thank God, the excuse of fire brigade preparation was not the case this time around and we are expecting our players to proof themselves as good ambassadors of our dear country Nigeria.

At this junction, let me implore our Oyo State Governor Ajimobi to enhance our darling 3SC club to reinforce the club to come back to their leadership position in Nigeria.

In the 70 downward, the WNDC that metamorphosed to Shooting Star was not a pet all over the country and in Africa as a whole.

Today, see what 3SC has become.

In 1972 when Zamalek of Egypt met Shooting Stars in Liberty Stadium, after the match, thousands of spectators trekked back home from Liberty Stadium because of overcrowding.

This 3SC today, is not interesting to football lovers to watch than Chelsea, Juventus, and Manchester United among others.

Give 3SC second chance thought to wake up again.
