Atiku takes early lead in PDP presidential primary
Former Vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has taken an early lead in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary in Port Harcourt.
He is keenly followed by Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, who initially was tipped to win the primary due to the support he said to have received from his some of his colleagues.
The Guardian gathered that from the ballot papers sorted so far, Atiku Abubakar cleared the votes in Kwara, Lagos, Bayelsa, a seizable vote from Akwa Ibom. He was however said to have lost in Rivers State were the delegates votes one hundred percent for Governor Tambuwal.
