Bayelsa state governor, Seriake Dickson, and his Edo State counterpart, Godwin Obaseki, have resolved to engender regional security and economic integration and foster peace and unity between the two states and the entire Niger Delta region.

Both governors also agreed to mobilise their states for the restructuring of Nigeria.

In a statement, the Chief Press Secretary to Dickson, Francis Agbo, said both leaders spoke, yesterday, when Dickson played host to Obaseki at Government House, Yenagoa.

The statement quoted Dickson as saying the report by the All Progressives Congress (APC) committee on restructuring is a pointer to the fact that all Nigerians, regardless of political and ethno-religious backgrounds, have adopted a common position on the matter.
