The All Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has elected new executive in Nasarawa State.

The new executives were elected by delegates, which consisted of chairmen and secretaries from all the 13 local government areas.

The new chairman, Mr. Mathew Usman, while giving his acceptance, speech expressed gratitude to the delegates for the confidence reposed in them and promised to uphold the constitution of the party.

He also promised that the party would give the youths opportunity to contest elective positions in the 2019 general election.

He added that the party would change the old method of doing things in the state if members of the party are elected into position.

The Chairman also received over 1000 defectors from All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

He assured the defectors that the leadership of the NNPP would give them equal opportunities just like those that have joined the party before them.

Similarly, Mark Usman, North Central vice chairman of the party said the NNPP is seriously engaged in sensitisation and recruitment of Nigerians into its fold.

He assured Nigerians that the party would substitute the old recycled leaders and give opportunity to the youths.

He therefore said things were not going on properly in the country because it is not possible to continue to do things the same way always and expect different result.
