Elisha Ishaku Abbo an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) expert, who was alleged to be helping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) manipulate the July 14 governorship election, has demanded a retraction of the said statement and unreserved apology from the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr. Kayode Fayemi.

The campaign organisation of Dr. Kayode Fayemi, had accused some top officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Abbo who it said was former staff of the commission, of conniving with Governor Ayodele Fayose to manipulate the coming governorship election.

It accused the INEC staffs from Abuja of allegedly holding a secret meeting with governor Fayose in the government house some days back under the guise of being in the state for official duty.

Reacting to the allegation in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, Abbo denies neither ever working in INEC nor colluding with any staff of the commission.

Although he said he had his office within the premises of the government house, which was since March 2017 till date and traversed the 177 wards and over 140 communities in Ekiti State.

“The fact is I am an expert in my field and through the grace of God on my life; those to whom I rendered my services have never lost any election. My success story has remained 100 percent.

“Therefore, this allegations are blatantly false, malicious and a wicked attempt to tarnish my hard earned reputation as a professional political consultant, campaigns and election strategist and community mobilization specialist.”
