9ice Returns, Headlines ‘Coded Tunes Concert’ In May

IT seems the Street Credibility and Pete Pete singer, Abolore Akande popularly known as 9ice, who went into politics to seek for a seat in the Federal House of Representatives under the All Progressive Congress (APC), but lost out in the party’s primaries, has turned back to his first love, music.

Putting that behind him, Gongo Aso crooner is gearing up for the release of his 7th studio album, which is expected before the year runs out. He recently unveiled plans to release three new songs, Sugar, Familete and Agbawabura featuring Akintunde, on Friday, April 10.

With the release of his latest singles, 9ice is back to what brought him fame and fortune. The Alapomeji Ancestral Records boss is set to headline the Code Tunes Live Concert scheduled to hold May 10, at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Weekend Beats gathered Bashorun Gaa Versus master, has returned to working with his former partner and producer, ID Cabasa and together they will stage what is planned to be a mega concert next month.
