All the glitz and glam from 2018 Beauty Souk

Last weekend, the city of Lagos witnessed one of the biggest yearly beauty events, the Beauty Souk, which brought together players and stakeholders of the beauty industry.

Cosmetologists, makeup artistes, beauticians, beauty bloggers and buyers were hosted in Lagos to the best and latest beauty trends, products and services over the course of two days. Powered by Nigeria’s leading supporter of small businesses, Diamond Bank Plc and organized by leading events organizer, Eventful Nigeria, thousands of visitors that visited on both days were left wowed.

Guests and celebrities in attendance enjoyed numerous activities and freebies ranging from master classes from leading experts in the beauty sector to makeup tutorials, cash prizes, beauty makeovers and also heavily discounted products. According to the bank, the Beauty Souk fair was conceived last year to give female entrepreneurs access to new markets and is a further demonstration of the Bank’s #bankonher campaign.

Boasting over 70 vendors with a wide range of products across the industry, many famous faces were at hand to lend glamour to the event as celebrity models, MCs, speakers and masterclass facilitators.
