Comedy Central Grab The Mic hits Screen

Having gone through the audition stage, Comedy Central Grab The Mic, a talent hunt meant to discover new and fresh comic stars, is set to bring mind blowing comedic viewing experience to TV screens from tomorrow.

Having gone through the audition stage, Comedy Central Grab The Mic, a talent hunt meant to discover new and fresh comic stars, is set to bring mind blowing comedic viewing experience to TV screens from tomorrow.

The premiere broadcast featuring performances from numerous talents at the just concluded auditions in Lagos, will offer quality entertainment to millions of viewers and fans of comedy. Audiences across the world can watch the show this Sunday at 7:30pm on DStv channel 122 and subsequently on Sundays.

Hundreds of talents participated in the regional auditions held in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Jos. Following the regional auditions, the grand finale will be held in Lagos at a later date. One winner will take home the grand prize of N1.5 million cash prize and a chance to share the stage with comedy greats such as Alibaba and a host of others.

Speaking ahead of the broadcast premiere Grab The Mic celebrity judge, Ali Baba said;

“Comedy Central Grab The Mic has led to the discovery of a good number of talented comedians and viewers can look forward to an amazing viewing experience.”

Comedy Central Grab The Mic is a comedic talent search aimed at discovering and grooming budding Nigerian comedians. It is Comedy Central’s first ever-live activation in Nigeria. The campaign is being carried out in partnership with Maltina.
