Enter ticket planet for movie ticketing

Poised to create a new lifestyle for movie ticketing in Nigeria, a firm, Ticket Planet has launched a platform where everything ticketing can be sourced. The platform also provided movie lovers opportunity to buy tickets for the new movie Avenger, premiered last week in Lagos.

Described as first of its kind in West African region, the platform is designed as a lifestyle of convenience.

Speaking on the platform launched in Ikeja, last week, the founder of the Ticket Planet, Pascal Eze said the idea was conceived five years ago to meet the ticketing needs of Nigerians.

According to him, the platform was developed for strategic reasons, stressing that the ongoing work in Lagos is to encourage tourism and make lifestyle a convenience one.

He said, “We are trying to tap in with such drive to make it a win –win situation for everybody in Lagos and of course Africa. On our platform, you can buy tickets for events, shows, movies, transports, toll gates and others.

“We are partnering with every player in aviation industry and have already sign on with Air peace as well as starting integrated process with Med-view airline. We have also sign on with Genesis, you can now buy ticket to see films in Genesis anywhere in Nigeria on our platform,” he added.

Eze further stated that the platform is different from others because it offers everything about ticketing, as Nigerians will not have to worry about their inter or intra city tickets, toll gates, or even movies. He added that it is inspired by the desire to proffer solution.

“This is an idea borne out of a sheer desire of offering solution to Nigerians. We know how the traditional tickets work. You have to go to where to get to the airport or travelling agents to get your air ticket and after that you approach another platform to get movie, football, toll and bus tickets, what this platform has done is to coalesce the process into a hub for convenience as a lifestyle,” he explained.

He further explained that all Nigerians need to do is to log on to its web and mobile applications to download the app to be able to access it even at their comfort with the mobile phones.

According to him, there is an ongoing talk with the banks for partnership, where prospective users can buy the firm’s products from their mobile bank application. He assured Nigerians that as a mechanism has been instituted to ensure security of customers’ payment by partnering most secured payment platform,

“When you are depositing payment details in our platform, it will redirect you to Gateway platform, where payment is processed before returning you to our platform in order to check a situation where anybody for any reason decide to clone our platform,” he stated.
