Funplex Resort opens in Lagos

Poised to give fun-seekers the satisfaction they deserve, front line relaxation and resort outfit, Funplex Resort, has recently unveiled a state of the art outfit in Lagos.

Located at Magodo, it boosts of an amusement park, hotel, and a 1000-capacity event centre for banquets.

The Operations Manager, Allied Thrust and Systems limited, managers of the resort, Mr. Korede Oladimeji, said that edifice also handles both indoor and outdoor catering.

He also said that the resort serves as a place for training for some cooperate offices even as he added that the have branches both in Lagos and Port Harcourt.

According to him, unlike what people use to believe that amusement parks only have facilities for children, he added that the resort has provision for both adults and children.

“Allied Thrust and System Management managers of this resort.

Allied Trust is virtually a catering company, we do outdoor catering for companies and we are also profession hoteliers we have hotels here in Lagos and Port-Harcourt.

At this resort we have a hotel, an eatery, a bar and amusement park and we recently completed our event center.

The capacity is about 1000 at banquet and we have about 200 at sitting.

What we have here at the amusement park is not only for children there are also provision for the family. What we intend is to establish a place that the whole family can enjoy”

“We have a hang out for children but not only for children we  also have a place where cooperate offices.

We have companies coming in for their bonding we have outdoor and indoor games for adults so of is not only for children”

“We also have a laundry service at our event center,  we are planning to put a spar, a gym and all that.

The CMD has a training center. So what we are doing is to manage the event center.

This is actually a training center they provide management training for mostly civil servants.

So what we are doing apart form providing the accommodation we want then to train in a more conducive atmosphere.

After their training they will come and relax at the bar with their family members”.
