All roads led to Owode Town Hall, Owode in Yewa Council of Ogun State last weekend when Oladipupo Adebutu was conferred with the chieftaincy title of Otunba Fiwagboye of Owode land, and his wife as Yeye Adenike Omolola by the Olu of Owode land, Oba Matthew Sunday Akindele, for his immense contribution to the Yewaland and Ogun State.

The large turn out of dignitaries from all hues was anticipated by Adebutu, being a man of the moment in the Ogun State social and political klieglight, as the hall was filled to the brim as early as 11a.m., with guests looking gorgeous in a pretty purple Ankara sewed into various eye-catching styles. It was a good day to remember for many, as Adebutu treated all to a gourmet feast.

Lado, as he is fondly called, is the favourite son of Chief Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu, the billionaire owner of Premier Lotto, otherwise known as Baba Ijebu.

Ladi, a member of the House of Representatives, has been honoured with several chieftaincy titles in Yoruba land, such as Okanlomo of Iperu Remo land, Aruwajoye of Ode Remo and Otunba Nawo Ola of Odogbolu, among other titles.
