Tagged Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Programme (YEEP), the event was indeed a success, as participants were not only given the opportunity to learn, but they also got access to start up funds, which was also the sole aim of the empowerment.

The Activate Success Int’l foundation Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Programme is aimed at teaching corp members practical steps on how to become a successful entrepreneur, with the founder of Activate Success Int’l foundation, Love Idoko, leading young professionals and celebrity role models to speak and empower them.

Apart from the N1million grant given to the NYSC members from Activate Success International, a N1.2 million grant was also given to 12 members by one of the speakers. To crown it all, a N500,000 grant was also given to 10 members by another speaker at the event making the total sum 2.7million naira.

Speaking with Love Idoko at the event, she said “I have a penchant for motivating people, there are business minded youths out there that are just looking for mentorship or business ideas as well as funds to start up their business and that’s why we are here. The purpose is not just to give grants, it’s also to empower and motivate as many youths as possible” she appreciated the NYSC for making it possible and working very hard to empower the corp members as well.

Desmond Eliot, who was a speaker at the event, said, “Love Idoko is a true Nigerian. I love what the Activate Success Int’l foundation Team is doing, it’s very pertinent we empower many of our youths given the kind of society we live in today. I’m excited to be here and I look forward to other empowerment programs like this”
